Sydney was so excited today. This is the first time she has had any interest in her playmat. There are videos up of her playing now.

June 3, 2004

Today Sydney had her 2-Month Checkup. She is growing so fast. She weighed in at exactly 11 pounds and was 22 3/4 inches long. Poor baby had her first big round of immunizations, 5 of them. It was not fun for any of us. I think we all had tears in our eyes when it was all over. Sydney is nice and healthy and her development is right on track.

Sydney is going to be rolling over soon. I was changing her diaper and I looked away for a split second and when I looked back she was on her back. Wow! I wondered how she did it, so I put her on her back again and watched and encouraged her to turn onto her back again. She started to kick her legs and push off the desk and kick her legs again, before I knew it her hips turned and she was on her backside. After her bath we tried to go from the back to the belly, and she had a much harder time with that (but she got awful close).
